Correction. It seems the deal is for APR1000’s, not 1400’s. So $4300/kW.
The Czechs have signed at deal with KHNP for two APR1400 with options for 2 more. Reportedly the price is 8.6 billion USD. If this number holds up, that will be just over $3000/kW.
I wonder what KHNP would bid to build an APR-1400 here on US soil.
