Your Amazon link is only to the paperback version of the book. Please supply a link to the Kindle version that you discuss in this article. As a Ph.D. radiation biophysicist, I agree with your biological hazard characterization of ionizing radiation. It has to be safe for there to be hundreds of millions of people whose health has been improved via the use of x-rays and radiation therapy against cancer. The negative perception illustrates the power of anti-nuclear power propaganda.

There is no Kindle version. I was referring to Kindle Publishing, the Amazon subsidiary which sets minimum pricing for the books it prints. Sorry about the confusion.

I have resisted doing a Kindle version. In this book, the text and graphics are very tightly coupled. If we went to a floating format, there's no telling where the figures end up.
